heather, it’s funny you mention that, because i just ‘fessed up in my letter today. i mean, they have to know something’s up when their mailbox is flooded. no communication for a year and a half and then all of a sudden i’m penning notes every day? they’re going to think i’m on drugs. well, they probably already think that. but you know what i mean.
put it this way: telling the truth is never a bad thing. and i’ll bet you’ll be getting some heart-warming responses soon that you can document here.
question for you: have you told your mom about this site yet? i’m going to have to soon, before they start calling her. so, tomorrow. i know we’re both off work, so there’s no excuse.
and if you have told your mom and she’s reading…. hi debbie!
oh, and one more thing about grandparent names: my dad’s folks had some awesome names (none of which i can take credit for, since i was the youngest grandchild on that side). granny b (first name beatrice) and d-daddy (said dee daddy, not like you stutter). pretty fly, right? makes me wonder what my grandkids will decide i should be called someday in the distant future…..
